So I thought this might be a fun to do. It’s been a crazy month. I’m located in Toronto, Canada, and most of the sales that were available were from Costco.ca. Some sets had lower prices, and some offered added value.
In this post, I’m going to post what I got, but also how much I paid. LEGO is such a fun hobby, it can get expensive, but if you can wait for sales, it’s also not so bad.
What did I get?
September 7th, 2020
LEGO Speed Champions 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 75895 – $20.00

I bought racks for my house, and well, I added a small set on the order. I own LEGO Porsche GT3 + Porsche 911 RSR but I love this little set just as much as the others!
September 11th, 2020
LEGO Technic Land Rover Defender 42110 – $200.00

LEGO Stranger Things The Upside Down 75810 – $269.00

LEGO Harry Potter The Knight Bus 75957 – $50.00 (Bonus set from Stranger Things)

Both these were Costco.ca deals. The Defender was $50 off based on LEGO.ca and The Stranger Things set provided a bonus set that I liked.
Here are the reported deals for the Defender HERE and the Stranger Things HERE
September 17th, 2020
LEGO Creator Expert Bookshop 10270 – $199.00

LEGO Architecture San Francisco 21043 – $70.00 (Bonus set from Bookshop)

I am so excited for this set. This is one of the hardest deal to come by. Whenever Costco.ca stocks the Bookshop, it only last for 30-45min before it gets sold out. You can see the deal HERE. Stay tune to the site if you want to catch the deal!
September 24th, 2020
LEGO Technic Ducati Panigale V4 R 42107 – $99.99

LEGO Ideas International Space Station 21321 – $49.99

MastermindToys had a BOGO 50% off deal. I found it a helpful deal to get smaller sets that I’ve wanted. See the deal HERE
Total Cost
As you can see, this month was very good for the hobby and very bad for the wallet. I got 8 sets and if I purchased it all from LEGO.ca, I would have had to pay $1059.92 + tax.

But instead, I paid $838 + tax. That would be a savings of 21%.
With the holidays approaching, I wonder what other sales will be coming up! I know for sure next month I will be purchasing LEGO Batman 1989 BATWING 76161… oh dear

Happy LEGO Building!
