Hey guys! Check this out. Over at LEGO Ideas, Avatar: The Illuminated World of Pandora has achieved 10k support. What an amazing achievement. Next up for this set and its creator Bulldoozer is the review phase from the LEGO Team.
This set has 2963 pieces. It also features
- 18 animal and 26 plant species in land, air, and sea habitats
- Glow-in-the-dark parts that mimic the bioluminescent glow of the flora and fauna from the movie
- A model base that features iconic landmarks from the film, including the Tree of Souls, Stone Arches, the Hallelujah Mountains, and Eastern Sea Coastline
- Unobtanium mineral deposits that are hidden deep beneath the Tree of Souls
- Props include: ancient Na’vi cave paintings, Toruk Makto’s great leonopteryx skull, Jake Sully’s wheelchair and exopack, field microscope, old school house class picture, and a copy of “The Na’vi” guide book from the film.
- Minifigures include: Jake Sully (human and Na’vi forms), Neytiri, Dr. Grace Augustine, Colonel Miles Quaritch, and a Na’vi infant
- War painted versions of Jake and Neytiri’s heads
- A buildable Amplified Mobility Platform (AMP suit)
