My most Favourite Black Friday Deal!

Hey guys, with Black Friday approaching in a couple of days, I wanted to share my favourite Black Friday deal! This year’s Black Friday sales can be seen HERE.

This deal happened last year (the year I started really getting into LEGO). Before I tell you, let’s rewind one day prior. It was November 28th, 2019, and I bought LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile 76139. This was such a fun purchase for me. I remember waiting until midnight to order, much like this year’s Batwing. However last year, that purchase had two gift with purchase!

LEGO Christmas Tree 40338

LEGO 1989 Batmobile 40433

The LEGO 1989 Batmobile 40433 was definitely my favourite Gift with purchase, though when I’m excited to see the Dickens Tribute Set when it arrives.

So with the high of purchasing the Batmobile on the 28th, I really didn’t expect to buy more during Black Friday, but boy was I WRONG! The very next day on November 29th, 2019, I bought one of my ALL TIME favourite set which is LEGO Ninjago City 70620.

I remember being unsure if I wanted the set, but with the savings + GWP + VIP points tipped me over. The set originally in Canada sold for $350, but on that day it was $245, a savings of $105 or 30% off. I also got another LEGO Christmas Tree 40338 and also got $12.25 worth of VIP points (5% of set cost). Hard to ignore those savings right?!?!?!

That set is now retired and boy is it expensive to get. If you wanted to pick up this set, on Bricklink, the last 6 months average is $677.28 with a max price of $858.16!! Can you imagine if you had bought two of those sets last year for $250 + tax and then profit this much in a year?!?!? That would be a 240% return!

Subsequently after this set, I bought LEGO Ninjago Dock 70657, and I’m pretty sure I will at some point pick up LEGO Ninjago City Garden 71741 that is rumoured HERE. To see some of the 2021 LEGO Ninjago sets that are already revealed, check HERE.

Anyways, I hope this Black Friday will have some wicked sales like last year. It would be amazing to pick up a couple larger sets!
