RUMOUR!! New LEGO Botanical Collection Set

Hey guys! This rumour gets me really excited, as I haven’t disliked any of the three sets in the LEGO Botanical Collection. My green thumb was really hoping that this collection would continue to grow and if the rumours are true, we will be seeing an orchid to the mix, next year! Or so Instagram user, brick_clicker, reports. Of course, until LEGO confirms this information, we will just have to consider this information a rumour until further notice.

The reason I think that an orchid (or orchidaceae) would work well in this collection, is the distinct appearance this flowering plant offers. Similar to the bonsai tree and birds of paradise, this LEGO build would be easily recognizable to its true form. I have cared for many orchids over the years and I would say that the most common petal colour would be white or a light purple, which could include a colour that hasn’t yet been introduced in the Botanical Collection.

According to Instagram user, brick_clicker, this new addition will be $50 USD. This would fall in line with the LEGO Flower Bouquet 10280 and the LEGO Bonsai Tree 10281. That leaves the LEGO Birds of Paradise 10289 at the most expensive set in this collection for $100 USD. Again, we will treat this information as a rumour until LEGO officially confirms.

What were you hoping the next set in this collection would be? Comment below!

Happy LEGO Building!
